A new update has been released for one of the games I\u2019ve had on my radar lately. It\u2019s Generation Exile, a colony management simulator. We\u2019re tasked with managing the remnants of humanity that fled Earth following its ecological collapse. Inside a sub-FTL interstellar generation ship (meaning it\u2019ll take humanity a while to find a new home), we manage different biomes, trying to preserve as much as we can of the planet\u2019s lost biodiversity with the limited resources at our disposal.\u00a0<\/p>\n
With the new update, which brings us closer to the official release of version 1.0, a new biome\u2014the tropical rainforest\u2014is being introduced. However, due to damage to the ship\u2019s armor, we face the challenge of new radioactive fungi that threaten the ecosystem\u2019s balance but offer an interesting alternative for shielding the ship from cosmic radiation.
