The new and improved edition introduces Restored Land mode, an extremely challenging experience that offers a new way to play Dying Light: The Beast <\/a>, forcing players to develop, adapt, and perfect their survival skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In Restored Land, every action has permanent consequences. Zombies killed by the player do not respawn. Loot also no longer respawns, while containers provide fewer supplies and stores offer reduced stock at higher prices. Under these new rules, activities such as Convoys, Dark Zones, and Hives need to be completed only once. Survival mechanics are intensified, including the need to manage hunger and replace depleted flashlight batteries, given the limited availability of resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition, the most daring players can further define the rules of their survival by enabling the \"One Life\" option, which gives them only one chance to complete the Restored Land experience. In the event of death, the saved game is deleted, meaning they must start over from the beginning.
