At Gamescom which is taking place these days in Germany, Nvidia has announced a new project based on the RTX Remix toolset and this time it's a remaster of Half-Life 2.
According to Nvidia, the development will be handled by Orbifold Studios, a partnership of top Half-Life 2 modders. As you can see in the video, the look of the game is dramatically improved with full ray-tracing and new textures and materials, and of course all the latest Nvidia technologies ( DLSS3, Reflex, RTX IO etc.).
