Owlcat Games, known for the isometric cRPG series Pathfinder and Warhammer: Rogue Trader, has been working for quite some time on its first third-person action/RPG, based on the science fiction novel series, The Expanse.
The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, as it is titled, is expected to be released in the spring of 2027, and the company today unveiled a new gameplay video that appears to be heavily influenced by Mass Effect. Meanwhile, the game’s closed beta phase is expected to begin next month (specifically on April 22), so we’ll have more information about it soon.
