Hunter: The Reckoning Deathwish, Teyon's new RPG
The Polish studio Teyon, which has previously released quite a few titles based on classic films from the (unforgettable) 1980s (Rambo: The Video Game, Terminator: Resistance, Robocop: Rogue City), has announced that it is developing its first action/RPG, to be titled Hunter: The Reckoning Deathwish.
This ambitious project is based on the 5th edition of the tabletop RPG of the same name and, according to the developers, will borrow the formula of Robocop: Rogue City, namely the first-person perspective and movement within a semi-open world. However, Deathwish will include plenty of exploration, the development of relationships with the various characters we encounter (whether friendly or romantic), as well as a multitude of missions (main and side), which can be completed in different ways and with different approaches.
The release date is still a ways off (expected sometime in the summer of 2027), but all of this sounds very interesting, and we hope Teyon manages to deliver on its promises.
