Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 announced for release in 2024!
6 years after the release of the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance, our brother in Christ Henry is coming to see us again. As revealed in the trailer that went online a few minutes ago, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is not only announced, but set for a late 2024 release!
In the short featurette video that followed the trailer, Daniel Vávra and the game's developers gave some extra information about the story, characters, available choices, world and music of the game. According to them, the story will pick up exactly where the first KCD's story left off (but will be "noob-friendly" enough that someone who didn't play 1 can join the game) and the world will be about twice as big as KCD's, including both rural areas and the large urban center of Kuttenberg, where the majority of the game will take place.
Vávra stated that KCD2 is "the game he wanted to make from the beginning a decade ago but couldn't because of financial constraints." Here's his chance to finally make it so, Jesus Christ Be Praised.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is expected to be released by the end of 2024. Until then, visit its official website, and wishlist it on Steam.
