Rumored "Oblivion Remake" Screenshots Leaked

In a seemingly random way, a reddit user allegedly stumbled upon a folder containing screenshots from the upcoming remake of Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, which is unofficially in development.

As seen in the corresponding reddit thread, the user did an "inspect element" on an image on the site of the company supposedly developing the remake, and through it found access to the URL of an unsecured folder containing a series of screenshots from the title. Since then, access to that folder has been locked, but the Khajiit is already out of the bag and the images are already available everywhere.

Based on the images, the game's graphics look upgraded and with less of the eye-piercing bloom of the original release, but it looks as if a brown filter has been applied over the camera. for some reason.

This writer's views on the original TES IV: Oblivion, and how it was instrumental in the decline of the entire gaming industry, are well known. However, I can't help but look forward to shelling out another 20 euros to Todd Howard to buy a new and upgraded Horse Armor DLC in immaculate 4K graphics, and also to take strolls inside the Imperial City which is populated by 5 and a half inhabitants.

The Oblivion Remake has been rumored to be in development for years, but has not been officially confirmed. In the last few days rumors have been circulating that a release date is expected to be announced soon (maybe even within the week!), and the recent leak is probably leading towards that point. Logic dictates that more official information will be released soon.
