The most important announcements of the State of Play
Sony’s policy regarding single-player releases may have changed by now, and games like Wolverine or the new God of War may not be coming to our screens (at least, not anytime soon). However, the recent State of Play presentation revealed some interesting news, mainly regarding the release dates of certain titles.
Let’s take a look at some of them:
TOMB RAIDER: LEGACY OF ATLANTIS
The highly anticipated remake of the original Tomb Raider, developed jointly by Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog, is set to be released on February 27, 2027.
PHANTOM BLADE ZERO
The impressive hack-and-slash game (not a Soulslike) from China’s S-Game Studios has been delayed slightly and is now expected to be released on October 29, 2026.
CONTROL RESONANT
The sequel to the highly acclaimed Control, which marks Remedy Entertainment’s latest project following Alan Wake 2, will be released on September 24 of this year.
