A few hours after the (deliberate?) leak of the release date, Ubisoft has released a new story trailer for the highly anticipated Star Wars Outlaws, which is accompanied by the official release date.
So, the game is set to release on August 30, 2024 and, as usual, those who pre-purchase it will receive an extra gift of cosmetic items (The Kessel Runner Bonus Pack). If you get the Gold or Ultimate Edition (which of course include, among other things, the Season Pass), then you'll have access to it three days before its official release.
In the game, Star Wars Outlaws is set in a time when the Empire is in its maximum power, having fully established its dominance over the galaxy. Which doesn't stop various scoundrels from trying to get rich by any means necessary, and one of them is protagonist Kay Vess.
However, Kay's ultimate goal is to gain her freedom, after a life of crime, by starting a new life. Something not easy to do, but not impossible...
