I had these 5x lines in it:<br><br> 0.0.0.0 ui.skype.com<br>0.0.0.0 pricelist.skype.com<br>0.0.0.0 apps.skype.com<br>0.0.0.0 m.hotmail.com<br>0.0.0.0 s.gateway.messenger.live.com<br><br> <br><br>I deleted those 5x lines, restarted my computer (that&#039;s important) and Skype is working fine again, including Skype Home.<br>I found the solution (at least for my computer): check your hosts file!<br><br><br>https://community.skype.com/t5/Windows-desktop-client/Skype-auto-group-adding/m-p/4216898#M388852<br>You couldtry deleting your local messaging sync database. For that first quit Skype completely (as otherwise Skype is blocking access to this file). Then open in your Windows file explorer %APPDATA%Skype (simply paste this into the file explorer address bar) - Within that folder open the folder with your Skype name. There you will find a file msn.db - Rename that file, e.g. to msn_old.db and then start Skype again
