Mou vgazei to eksis munhma : Steam is currently running in windows compatibility mode.This may prevent Big picture from launching as steam may believe you are running windows xp or below.

Λοιπόν.

Θα πας στο φόλντερ που έχεις εγκατεστημένο το Στήμ (Συνήθως Program Files\Steam) και θα κάνεις δεξί κλίκ στο exe του Steam. Θα πατήσεις Properties. Βεβαιώσου πως τρέχεις σαν Admin και σε Compatibilty για Win7 SP1. Αν και το desktop σου είναι σε νορμάλ ανάλυση (δεν τρέχει σε μειωμένο color scheme/reduced state) θα παίξει κανονικά.

Το πρόβλημα αυτό το συνάντησαν και αρκετοί άλλοι, σύμφωνα με posts που βλέπω στα forum του Steam.

Εντόπισα μια πιθανή λύση, που αφορά διαγραφή ενός αρχείου από τη registry του υπολογιστή.

Open the registry editor (go to "Start" > Run > regedit) * backup your registry first using export, then continue...
Now check these locations for an entry that mentions steam.exe:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Compatibility Assistant\Persisted

If you find steam.exe in any of the above locations, delete that entry.
