Android apps, especially the premium Top 200 apps/games, are far more graphics intensive than Windows apps. BlueStack's LayerCake(TM) technology is designed to map the functions provided by graphics processors (GPU's) in mobile devices to the graphics drivers and hardware available on PC's. In order to be able to play Android apps on your PC, your PC's Graphics Library (GL) drivers and the graphics hardware should support the necessary graphics functions. BlueStacks performs compatibility checks to ensure that your PC is indeed capable of running Android apps. If not, it informs you that the GL supported on your PC is not compatible for Android apps.
You can usually achieve compatibility by installing the latest GL drivers for the graphics hardware installed on your PC through a Windows Update.
However, it is likely that in a limited number of cases compatible GL drivers may not exist because the underlying graphics card cannot support such graphics functions. This is particularly true for PC's (tablets and netbooks) containing Intel Atom, and AMD C and Z, class processors. In such cases, you will unfortunately not be able to play premium, graphics-intensive Android apps on your PC.
