The classic FPS lives again! The joint announcement from 3D Realms and Anshar Studios, states that the Painkiller "reimagine/reboot" is currently in development and is expected to be released this fall.
The game will reportedly support co-op for up to three players, and the first gameplay trailer released looks pretty impressive. So hopefully this will be a worthy successor to People Can Fly's original Painkiller.
