At last night's The Game Awards, Amplitude Studios and Sega announced a new game in the Endless franchise called Endless Dungeon. Inspiration may be absent in the name choice (as the previous title was called Dungeon of the Endless), but that doesn't seem to be the case with the game itself. This time we're dealing with a tactical action roguelite where we control 3 characters.
The creator of Endless Space and Endless Dungeon promises us a completely different experience from one attempt to the next, with danger lurking in every room we open. Our goal is to protect a crystal we carry, from hordes of enemies, on which our team's survival depends. In addition, the existence of a cooperative game has been confirmed, while the release date of the title has not been revealed. A trailer for the announcement follows.
