Rebellion is best known for its successful Sniper Elite series, but its track record isn’t limited to that alone, as it has released quite a few notable titles in the past (including last year’s Atomfall, but especially 2010’s Aliens VS Predator). In a way, the British development team appears to be returning to the horror single-player FPS genre with the announcement of Alien Deathstorm.
It’s worth noting that, contrary to what the title suggests, the game isn’t set in the Alien movie universe (so, no Xenomorphs for you, buddy). However, Alien Deathstorm gives off similar vibes, at least in terms of atmosphere, setting, and the lurking alien creatures, with the first gameplay trailer promising a powerful action/horror experience.
Alien Deathstorm is expected to be released in 2027.
