We had an unexpected piece of news a while ago, that a new title in the Shadow Man series is being developed, called Shadowman Darque Legacy. Twenty-one years after Shadow Man: 2econd Coming, no one expected to see a new installment. Creator and publisher, Blowfish Studios points out that this is not a direct sequel to the previous games, but a standalone creation. According to them, the game will also feature difficult bosses and an RPG-lite progression in the protagonist's development.
From there, we should expect a lot of exploration in two worlds, the living and the dead (known to game connoisseurs as Deadside). Darque Legacy is scheduled for release next year, with no further details known. Below is the first trailer for the game:
